Museum Staff

Curator: Wanda Bobinger

Background: Ms. Bobinger is employed by Polk County to administer the affairs of the Museum and to work with the County Historical Commission appointed by the County. Ms. Bobinger is a graduate of Leggett High School and attended the University of Houston and the University of Texas where she majored in biology. As a Registered Medical Technologist, her talents were utilized at the M. D. Anderson Hospital, University of Freiburg (Germany), and the University of Bern (Switzerland). She became the Curator of the Polk County Museum in 1991 and claims to have always had a "passionate interest in the County's history, even as a young child."

Maintenance: Marvin Robinson

Background: Marvin is a graduate of Dunbar High School, Livingston, Texas and has worked mostly for the Webster family since 1979.
