Livingston Lions Club Award Recipients

 
Melvin Jones Fellowship
Established in 1973, the fellowship is named for the founder of Lions Clubs International, Melvin Jones. It represents those attributes characteristic of individuals who are dedicated to humanitarian service. Attributes such as generosity, compassion, and concern for others. The fellowship is Lions Clubs International Foundation’s highest distinction.

Jack Weich Fellowship
Named after the first president of the Texas Crippled Children's Camp in Kerrville, and is awarded to a Texas Lion who embodies the best in Lionism. The fellowship is presented to a Lion or other individual for a personal contribution of $1,000 or as a tribute from a Club and is a primary means for the Texas Lions Camp to strengthen its financial base.

Texas Lions Foundation Fellowship
The Texas Lions Foundation Fellowship Program is a primary means for TLF to strengthen its financial base. The fellowship is presented to a Lion or other individual for a personal contribution of $500 or as a tribute from a Club.

Century Club
The Century Club is composed of Lions who commit to a donation of $100 per year to the Texas Lions Camp at Kerrville. The Club matches their donation. They receive a plaque for the initial donation, and a medallion for each successive year's donation. The current Century Club members are:

Lion of the Year
Its purpose is to call attention to, and publicly recognize, outstanding service and dedication by members. What is special about this award is that it is awarded only when the club really feels that one particular Lion has truly earned the accolade.
